Kanabec SWCD provides local conservation assistance for residents, landowners, farmers, lakeshore owners, and local partners throughout Kanabec County.

Our staff can help with questions related to soil health, water quality, shoreland restoration, flooding/drainage concerns, native plantings, forestry, erosion control, habitat projects, septic system concerns, and conservation funding opportunities.

We offer practical local guidance, site visits, project design assistance, and connections to potential cost-share programs to help people improve and care for the land and water around them.
