Emily graduated Minnesota State University Moorhead in 2021 with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. She is originally from northern Minnesota in the Red River Valley and grew up helping with the family farm and garden. Spending time in nature is her passion and she enjoys plants, hiking, and fun new art projects or crafts. She joined the Kanabec SWCD in November of 2023 and is excited to continue to work with landowners and the community to improve water quality and to make a positive environmental impact.
