Come learn more about Mora Lake

Recent low lake levels have prompted questions and renewed interest in Mora Lake. This Community Conversation is an opportunity for anyone interested in the lake to learn more about it, hear from local and regional resource professionals, and join a broader conversation about its future.

What to Expect

Presentations will explore Mora Lake’s history, how the lake has changed over time, current conditions, and what resource professionals are seeing and saying about the lake today.

The conversation will then open up to the community. Participants will have an opportunity to hear from others and take part in small-group discussions about their own connections to Mora Lake, what they value about it, and their hopes for its future.

You don’t need to live on or near Mora Lake to participate. Whether you visit the lake, have memories or stories connected to it, are interested in local natural resources, or simply want to learn more, you’re welcome to join the conversation.
